Sie verstand sich ausdr\u00fccklich als k\u00fcnstlerische Fotografie. Hauptinteresse galt vor allem der Experimentellen Fotografie. Die Subjektive Fotografie will nicht die objektive Wirklichkeit einer Situation wiedergeben, sondern nur deren bildhafte Deutung, eine subjektive Interpretation des Betrachters ist n\u00f6tig und dessen Phantasie gefordert. Die Subjektive Fotografie liefert vor allem Schwarz-Wei\u00df-Aufnahmen und dr\u00fcckt sich meist durch abstrakte Formen, graphische Strukturen, Linien von Licht und Schatten aus. Weitere Merkmale sind kontrastreiche Abz\u00fcge, radikale Ausschnitte, surreal wirkende Situationen, aber auch Negativabz\u00fcge oder Solarisationen. Die Traditionen und Ideen innerhalb der Subjektive Fotografie reichen bis in die Zeit des Bauhauses zur\u00fcck, noch heute f\u00fchlen sich K\u00fcnstler dieses Feldes der Fotografie damit verbunden.
